Experience Cork’s vibrant music scene…
.
Taking a journey from funk and lo-fi, thru experimental sensoral overload, past rock, punk and the metal influence, sideline for a slice of hillbilly pie and voicecraft purity, ending with the dirty growl of nighttime hard-stakin’ blues, this is a chance to see some of the cities brightest talents.
.
Not to be missed!

Performance times and acts -TBC
.
hopefully one act every hour on the hour – some genres will get an hour to themselves (metal i’m looking in your direction!)
.
will be supplying the backline etc. from the bandrooms, we’ll get a low stage sorted w/ lights an stuff and an engineer to make everyone sound their sweetest. there’ll be a lot of heads wandering around so want to give the place a kind of ‘come in and have a look’ vibe – since we’re right in the thick of the action on the night, hopefully people will come in a few times on their ways to other events
.
i’ll upload some photos and stuff when i have em.
.
.
if anyone has any decent ideas to jazz the place up, i’d love to hear em, nice1:)

Update…
.
Culture night went off very well in 2010, all the acts were well received and the show was well attended by all ages.
.
a big thank-you goes out to Fritz at the church as well as the congregation members who popped in throughout the night,
.
everyone commented on the space and i hope awareness of the ministry was raised amongst the audience.
